Product Design :

1) Conductor: 27% Nickel plated annealed copper per ASTM B355
2) Insulation:Mica/Glass Tape
3) Jacket:Fiberglass braid finished with a PTFE Dispersion
4) Cable:Conductors cabled together with a left hand lay with a mica/glass thermal barrier tape applied over the core
5) Moisture Barrier:Skived PTFE Tape
6) Jacket:Fiberglass braid with LiquidTight Finish

  • RoHS-3 Compliant with European Directive 2015/863
  • Passes IEEE 383 (Modified) 210,000 BTU Vertical Flame Test with circuit integrity up to 2 1/2 hours
  • Passes ICEA T-29-523 210,000 BTU Vertical Flame Test
  • Passes NEMA WC 3 Flame Propagation Test

Characteristics :

  • Conductor is composed of round and compact flexible stranded 27% Nickel Plated Copper
  • Mica tape insulation provides excellent high temperature and flame resistance.
  • Mica tape Insulation provides good chemical resistance and generates low smoke when exposed to flames
  • Mica tape thermal barrier provides excellent protection from high temperatures and flames
  • Skived PTFE moisture barrier provides excellent moisture and chemical resistance
  • ***LiquidTight jacket and finish creates an impervious seal between the TFE tape and outer braid for improved moisture and liquid resistance
  • Suitable for use in environments from -80°C to 450°C (538°C Non UL)
  • Product passes the 70,000 and 210,000 Btu/Hr Industry flame tests
  • Passes IEEE modified 210,000 BTU/hr Vertical Flame Test and maintains circuit integrity for a minimum of 2 1/2 Hrs
  • Maintains Circuit Integrity in conduit for over 24 Hrs with direct exposure to flame

Applications :

For use in instrumentation, control, power, signal and lighting circuits where circuit integrity is critical and/or for circuits that will be exposed to extreme heat or flame such as steel mills, petro chemical facilities, glass plants and oil refineries
