Product Design :

1) Conductor: Tin plated annealed copper per ASTM B33
2) Insulation: Silicone Rubber
3) Braid: Fiberglass yarn treated with a smooth lacquer finish
4) Jacket: Extruded FEP

UL approved as appliance wire per table below
CSA/C-UL approved as Silicone Equipment Wire SEW-2 per table below
Passes UL 1277 Vertical Cable Tray Flame Test (70,000 BTU/HR)
Passes IEEE 383 Flame Test (70,000 BTU/HR)
Passes ICEA T-29-520 Flame Test (210,000 BTU/Hr)
Passes modified Mil-W-25038 Circuit Integrity Test *NPC Conductor required on 10 AWG and smaller

Characteristics :

Silicone insulation provides good chemical, UV, ozone, and fungus resistance and also provides excellent electrical properties
Silicone rubber is very flexible and the fiberglass braid provides good mechanical strength
FEP Jacket provides excellent chemical, oil, solvent and cut through resistance
Suitable for use in environments from -60°C to 150°C

Applications :

Internal wiring of appliances, electrical equipment, hazardous location motors, generators and lighting fixtures
